A SINGLE DOT

The world is all around me.

yet it seems there’s no one out there…

and clouds form around me

yet I look up to a clear sky

The waves rumble around me

Yet my feet move not an inch

and so many smile around me

Yet they can see I cry

And some even love all around me

Yet they don’t reach out

so when I sit down in a crowd

Or retire to my bed…

It’s like I’m in a big circle

But I’m in a big circle

but I’m just that single dot…
